Return Policy

  • All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.  You may obtain an RMA number by visiting our return page through any of the methods provided at DS Returns

  • Returns for refund may be subject to a restocking fee. Read more about Refunds, Partial Refunds and Restocking Fees here.

  • All products that are new with the retail packaging never opened can be returned to DS Electronics within 30 days regardless of the individual return policy.

  • Products that are received by DS Electronics in any of the following conditions are not eligible for return and may be rejected:

    • Any product not purchased from DS Electronics

    • Any product that does not exhibit the described reason for the return (i.e., A return initiated for a DOA product that powers on and works properly upon inspection)

    • Any product with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number label, manufacturer model or part number label, and/or warranty label

    • Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product

    • Any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its packaging

    • Any product that exhibits physical damage

      • If you received your product damaged, please read our Report a shipping problem article for guidelines and instructions on how to resolve this issue. This is would not be considered a return.

    • Any product for which you have submitted a mail-in rebate

    • Any product which appears tampered, customized, or altered in any way

These are DS Electronics's (“DS Electronics”, “we” or “our”) Overall Return Guidelines applicable only to products purchased by you directly from the DS Electronics website. All returns must meet the overall guidelines in order for the individual return policy to apply.

Standard Return Policy

Replacement Only Return Policy

This is our Replacement Only Return Policy. Items covered by this policy (those products for which DS Electronics states "This item may be returned for a replacement within 30 days only") must be returned to DS Electronics within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a replacement of the same item. If the original item is no longer available, a Gift Card in the amount of the price originally paid will be issued. Products subject to this policy cannot be returned for a refund.

Consumable Product Return Policy

  • Return for refund within: non-refundable

  • Return for replacement within: non-replaceable

This is our Consumable Product Return Policy. Items covered by this policy (those products for which DS Electronics states "This item cannot be returned for a replacement or refund if opened") cannot be returned to DS Electronics.

Consumable items are items such as Printer Ink and Toner Cartridges, MicroSD Media, Retail Packaged Software, Downloadable Software, Paper Products, etc. that are consumed once they are used.


International Return Policy

  • Return for refund within: 15 days

  • Return for replacement within: 15 days

Defective or damaged products that state "This item is covered by DS Electronics's International Return Policy" must have an RMA number issued by DS Electronics within 15 days from the delivery date for this policy to apply. In the event a product is returned that is not defective, the product will either be returned to the customer or the return shipping cost initially covered by DS Electronics will instead be deducted from the refund amount along with any necessary restocking fee that may apply.
